Women Business Leaders’ in the COVID Crisis

HONOLULU – One in four women are considering downshifting their careers or leaving the workforce entirely because of the impact of COVID-19 according to a new report released in September by Women in the Workplace, the largest comprehensive study of the state of women in corporate America. To shine a light on this issue and the successes of women in the workplace during this pandemic, ProService Hawaii is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, October 28th at 10:00 a.m. titled “Women Rising & Leading Through Crisis,” which will feature Hawaii executive women in leadership. The panel will be moderated by Trini Kaopuiki, president and CEO of Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

The featured panelists are Laura Beeman, head coach of University of Hawaii Women’s Basketball, Miki Hardisty, chief technology officer at ProService Hawaii, and Allison Izu, owner of Allison Izu LLC. They will share how they’ve managed through the crisis in their respective roles while discussing a range of topics on leading effectively during times of turbulence and unprecedented change.

“We’re excited to feature these respected women business leaders and are eager to share their stories about navigating through this challenging economic time with unprecedented grit, grace and resilience,” says Ben Godsey, CEO and President of ProService Hawaii.
