Susan GanteVice President of Claims and Client Safety
Currently a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Susan joined ProService in 2007, as its claims manager, with almost 15 years of workers’ compensation claims and risk management experience. In 1993, she was aggressively pursued by one of the largest international third party claims administrators, Crawford and Company, to immediately join their claims operation, where Susan gained most of her claims adjusting experience in auto, general liability, property/casualty and primarily, workers’ compensation. During her time at Crawford and Company, Susan attained her insurance claims adjusting license and served on the Board of the Hawaii Claims Association as secretary/treasurer. After 5 years of service with Crawford and Company, Susan was offered a senior position at Cambridge Integrated Services where she was responsible for managing workers’ compensation claims for large companies such as Costco, Wackenhut Security and Hertz Rent a Car. With the unfortunate news of Cambridge closing its operation in Hawaii in 2003, Susan moved on to becoming a Principal Account Specialist/Team Lead at Hawaii Employers’ Mutual Insurance Company where she successfully maintained a 100% compliance rate and a 1 to 1.2 claims closure ratio. Since joining ProService, Susan developed and implemented its own proprietary cost containment programs such as Return to Work, Prescription Management and Independent Vocational Rehabilitation Evaluation.
