Special Olympics – Cheers for Champions

Please join us again as Cheer for Champions Presented By Fertility Institute of Hawaii returns to the University of Hawaii Les Murakami Stadium on Friday, June 9 from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We’re bringing back the thrill of welcoming athletes and coaches from across the state to the Opening Ceremonies of the 53rd Annual State Summer Games. Also returning to the stadium for the first time since 2019 will be the 38th Annual First Hawaiian Bank Troy Barboza Law Enforcement Torch Run. You’ll feel the anticipation and excitement in the air as law enforcement officers from across the state run the Flame of Hope into the stadium to light the cauldron and show their commitment to our local athletes.
