HONOLULU, HAWAII (November 5, 2021) – ProService Hawaii’s Chief Operations Officer, Miki Moore-Hardisty, was recently honored at Pacific Business News’ 2021 Business Leadership Hawaii event as one of its Business Leaders of the Year, Big Business (51 or more full-time employees). The event took place on Thursday, November 4 at The Royal Hawaiian.
Since joining ProService in May 2020 as its new Chief Technology Officer, Miki has guided ProService toward greater customer-centricity and product excellence. In her short tenure as CTO, she has inspired trust and confidence amongst her executive peerset, direct reports, and individual contributors across the organization. ProService then promoted her in May 2021 as their Chief Operating Officer, citing her exceptional ability to dig deep into company systems and infrastructure and work across the organization to enable a great client experience.
“We’re extremely proud of Miki for being recognized by Pacific Business News as a 2021 Business Leader of the Year honoree,” says Ben Godsey, President and CEO of ProService Hawaii. “Miki is a true change driver. Her ability to leverage technology and process improvements to drive improved client service, better products, and lower cost solutions is helping thousands of employers and tens of thousands of employees not just survive, but thrive in Hawaii,” Godsey adds. “We congratulate her and all the honorees, including a few of our own ProService clients who were also recognized for their business achievements!”
The Business Leadership Hawaii awards underscore the achievements and contributions of local businesses, organizations and leaders. Miki’s storied career as a Native Hawaiian who returned to Hawaii after years of working and living on the mainland, is a compelling factor in her recognition. Miki’s accomplishments in a specialized field such as digital technology and data science has inspired her to create more opportunities for kamaʻaina to be able to live and work in Hawaii while also encouraging women and minorities to pursue careers in technology.
“Mahalo to my peers, colleagues, and to Pacific Business News for this recognition,” says Miki Moore-Hardisty. “My work and commitment to harnessing the power of technology to create competitive advantages within Hawaii’s service industry is a rewarding path and one that I hope to model for other women in leadership and for minorities working in technology,” she adds.
