DOGS INVADE DOWNTOWN OFFICE ON TAKE-YOUR-DOG-TO-WORK DAY

HONOLULU (KHON2) – Man's best friend accompanied their owners at work on Friday. That's because it's take-your-dog-to-work day.

This national holiday was created by PSI Pet Sitters International as a way to celebrate our four-legged companions. It also encourages employers to experience the benefits of pets in the workplace.

Local HR solutions firm ProService Hawaii took part in the holiday.

“I thought it's a great opportunity. So often work is stressful, and it's just a nice way to bring some light-heartedness and emotional support to the workday and enjoy our companions that we don't get to spend all our time with,” said Ruth Erickson, ProService Hawaii.

ProService Hawaii also held a several contests and a raffle.
